Call for Research Intern (1 Position)

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Research Intern to join a short-term research project under the Department of Social Sciences. This internship is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in academic research, particularly in the field of political science.


Duration:

2 months 

Location: Kathmandu Valley 


Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Social Sciences, Preference will be given to those with a background in Political Science
  • Basic understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali

Intern Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing the research study and methodology
  • Conduct a comprehensive literature review
  • Support data collection (field or remote, depending on the project)
  • Participate in data cleaning and basic analysis
  • Contribute to report and manuscript writing
  • Attend regular team meetings and mentor check-ins
