We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Research Intern to join a short-term research project under the Department of Social Sciences. This internship is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in academic research, particularly in the field of political science.

2 months
Location: Kathmandu Valley
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Social Sciences, Preference will be given to those with a background in Political Science
Basic understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali
Intern Responsibilities
Assist in designing the research study and methodology
Conduct a comprehensive literature review
Support data collection (field or remote, depending on the project)
Participate in data cleaning and basic analysis
Contribute to report and manuscript writing
Attend regular team meetings and mentor check-ins
